Returns Policy

“In the EXTINCÊNDIOS SA store, namely in the online store www.extincendios.pt the consumer is automatically covered by the Satisfaction Guarantee, where in the first 14 days he can return or exchange an article (with the exceptions described in point 2) if it has not met his expectations.

1. Right to Free Contract Resolution (Returns) – Distance Purchases (made at www.extincendios.pt)

For distance purchases (online and to be delivered to the address via carrier), Portuguese Law establishes a 14-day period after taking physical possession of the goods, during which the consumer may return the item(s) without the need to state a reason.

You can do this in the following ways:

1.1 Contact our logistics support on +351 261 325 968 or email info@extincendios.pt for information on shipping procedures.

In cases of free Contract Resolution, the return is the responsibility of the consumer, as stipulated in paragraph 2 of Article 13 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February.

Note: Never send the article to EXTINCÊNDIOS SA without prior contact with the company.

2. Conditions for accepting Returns/Exchanges

Although returns/exchanges are accepted within the first 14 days on distance purchases (as described above), returned goods will only be accepted if they scrupulously respect the following conditions:

2.1. The returned item must be intact and without any use mark/damage.

2.2 You must return the item together with its packaging, labels, manuals and accessories as new, as received.

2.3 Together with the returned goods, you must enclose the invoice of the item.

In case of violation of any of these points, we will not be able to accept the return (and the consequent refund) or the exchange.

3. Items not accepted for Returns/Exchanges

Except for technical anomaly, there are items that by their nature cannot be accepted for returns/exchanges.

3.1 Exchanges or returns of custom-made or featured articles are not accepted.

4. Returns due to transport damage

When you receive your order you should always check if the packaging is with any visible damage, if this happens you should refuse the delivery of the volume and contact us through one of the methods previously mentioned.

If you are unable to check the item upon receipt, you should write on the delivery confirmation document that the package is subject to checking.

To make a claim for damage caused by shipping, the claim period is 48 hours from the date of delivery. After this period, Extincêndios SA, is not responsible for any defect that may have occurred during transport;

5. Returns reimbursement form

If you want a refund, it will be done via bank transfer to the IBAN that you indicate when you request the return. EXTINCÊNDIOS SA will refund the amount paid for the article as soon as a technical check is made on the state of the product and verification of compliance with the conditions described above (see point 1).

6. Tips for a successful purchase

EXTINCENDIOS SA understands the usefulness of the stipulated cooling-off period for the Customer; however, for the benefit of both parties, the Customer should make as sure as possible that the product is really the one that will meet his expectations and that it will be in accordance with his interests and the tasks he intends to perform. The Internet is a powerful tool for information and clarification of doubts.

7. Guarantees

The articles sold by the online store WWW.EXTINCENDIOS.PT are covered by the legal guarantee system. Before purchasing a good, bear in mind the following points described on this page:

EXTINCÊNDIOS SA is merely a distributor;

Most products marketed by EXTINCÊNDIOS SA are not manufactured by it. At the time of sale, EXTINCÊNDIOS SA passes on to the customer the guarantee for the product(s) in question;

Some products are marked with a warranty period longer than that stipulated by law, which is 2 years. After 2 years, the warranty process will have to be handled directly between Customer and manufacturer;

In the case of discontinued products, the exchange can be made for an equivalent or superior product to the one currently on sale, however, this exchange is exclusively the responsibility of the supplier/manufacturer. A credit note may also be made so that the customer can later purchase another (s) article in our store.

Please note that any alteration to the original product INVALIDATES THE WARRANTY. For example: removal of stickers with serial number or other type of label alluding to the warranty and adaptation of material. In all these cases the repair process is immediately REFUSED by the responsible technical center.

7.1 Service/Repairs

The warranty for repairs does not cover the following conditions:

Physical damage (broken/damaged/corroded/broken equipment, etc.);

Damage caused by transportation carried out by the Client or third parties on his behalf;

Use of options or consumables not appropriate for the equipment in question;

During this period the equipment has undergone technical intervention, with labor and parts alien to the services of the technical center/brand; The previous repair has been made at the request and responsibility of the customer.
